In order to survive South Africa will have to sell its goods abroad as well as develop local markets. In a world where the pace of change, new product development, branding and image making are critical. It will have to devise products that appeal not only on cost, but that offer unique qualities. Better exploitation of design has never been more crucial - it is a key factor for economic growth in this country.
