Portfolio of South African designers: Ernst de Jong

On 2 March 1994, a retrospective exhibition of work by painter and graphic designer Ernst de Jong opened at the Pretoria Art Museum. The exhibition spanned De Jong's artistic career, and included works from the time he was a student at the University of Oklahoma, where he obtained a BFA degree, to his most recent series of paintings titled Spear of the Nation, completed in 1993.
